“Smells pretty good,” Snake said as he sniffed the beard balm Cyrus had handed him.
“Would I steer you wrong?”
Snake side-eyed Cy then grinned. If his best friend Spade hadn’t already claimed Cyrus, he might have given it a shot. Just a few short weeks ago he’d discovered Spade was gay and in a relationship with Cyrus. At first he’d been pissed that Spade hadn’t confided in him, but after taking a hard look at himself, he’d understood. Admitting that you had thoughts and feelings about another man wasn’t easy, especially for a biker. Bikers took pride in being tough and manly, but Spade and Cyrus had put him at ease, allowing him to admit his own long-denied desires.
Snake massaged the balm Cy had given him into his beard until the hair was smooth and shiny. “Fuckin’ A.” He admired his reflection. Cyrus had suggested he trim his hair and beard, and he had to admit it was an improvement.
“I’m good,” Cyrus exclaimed, crossing his arms as he hitched his hip against the counter.
“That’s what I hear.” Snake winked.
Cyrus coughed. “Spade has a big mouth.”
“I won’t tell ya what he says about your mouth.”
“Are ya trying to get me in trouble?” Spade asked as he strolled down the hall and leaned against the doorjamb.
“Just telling Cyrus how much you admire him.” Snake met Spade’s narrowed gaze in the mirror and laughed. He and Spade went way back, and they always gave each other hell.
“He does great work. He managed to make you presentable.”
“I clean up pretty good but the clothes… I don’t fuckin’ know. He picked some shades I ain’t ever heard of, and these jeans are cutting off the circulation to my dick.” Snake tugged at his crotch.
Spade laughed. “You afraid some big dude at the club is gonna wanna bend you over?”
“Fuck you, bro. Cyrus has you dressin’ fancy too.” Snake passed Spade on the way to his bedroom and slapped his friend’s rear. “Those jeans are cuppin’ your ass. You sure he ain’t got plans to bend you over?”
Spade snorted. “He ain’t interested in that.”
“I wouldn’t say that,” Cyrus muttered.
Snake snickered at the look on Spade’s face. “Dum, dum, dum! And the plot thickens.”
Spade snorted. “Don’t be a bitch and chicken out tonight.”
“And don’t show up in baggy jeans and a biker T-shirt,” Cyrus added. “I’ve molded you into a presentable specimen. Don’t mess it up.”
“Yeah. All right, I’ll be there with fuckin’ silk on,” Snake said as Spade tugged Cyrus down the hall. He watched the two of them for a moment. Spade seemed happier than he’d ever seen him. Snake hoped he could find someone who soothed his inner demons.
* * * *
In the end, Cyrus got his way, and Snake’s jeans still felt a little too tight as he swung his leg over his bike. Chartreuse was the color of his silk shirt. He’d never heard of the color before, but the greenish shade did set off his eyes. Not to mention the silk abraded his nipples, hardening them and his cock. In tight pants it wasn’t something he could hide, either. Reaching down, he adjusted the thickened length.
Tonight he was going to a gay club for the first time. Spade and Cyrus were accompanying him, but they were taking their truck. He refused to ride with them. He’d recently admitted his attraction to men, but he was still a biker. As he revved his engine, he looked at the pile of building materials that was quickly becoming a clubhouse. His small house was set on nearly twenty tree-covered acres at the edge of town. When he, Spade and Cyrus had decided to start their own club, he’d volunteered to convert his garage into the Inclusion Motorcycle Clubhouse. It was a work in progress with only three members, but it was a start.
Snake’s heart chugged like a locomotive in his chest. Tonight was his start. He’d admitted his feelings, but he had never tried to act on them. He wasn’t even sure he was ready for a new lifestyle, but he wouldn’t know unless he tried. If nothing else, he’d have a couple of beers with his friends.
His bike lunged forward as he raced toward town and the future he imagined for himself.
