I’ve always been an avid reader, bordering on obsessive. There’s nothing better than getting immersed in a book, losing yourself in the words and worlds the authors create. As the years went by, I started creating my own stories and characters in my head. I kept them to myself, until it got to the point that I had to get out on paper. Once I started writing them down, I couldn’t stop.
Three books on my keeper shelf:
Acrobat by Mary Calmes. I love the way Dreo and Nate came together, not just because of mutual attraction, but because of the love they had for Dreo's nephew. It wasn't just about a couple falling in love, it was about becoming a family.
What appeals about supernatural and romance for you?
It's the possibilities. I'd like to believe there is still some magic and mystery in the world. When writing about the supernatural, anything can happen and usually does. There are no rules, which is good because I'm really bad with rules. It can be anything you want it to be. I think romance is the same. Love and romance can mean such different things to different people.
