Carol Lynne transformed the world of shifters and melded it with the world of humans and wolves. Alrik’s past was intriguing and dark and the more Ben learned the more he yearned to hold onto the man. Ben was compassionate towards his fellow man and wolves, desiring only the best for both.
The secondary characters, the rest of the team were larger than life and yes, there will be sequels. Alrik was a great start to the series and I look forward to reading more of C-7.

All in all, I enjoyed this one a lot. I love Ms. Lynne’s writing and I adored the world she created. This series seems to be all short stories so far (something that saddens me greatly!), they’re quick reads but I loved the characters and found the world fascinating. I can’t wait to see the direction this series goes in but I hope the other books are longer than this one!! Definitely recommended for those looking for something short, easy and fun.

Alrik is a chameleon with the ability to change into any form needed. He did not think love was for him and yet found himself powerless to resist one little human. It made for great reading watching these two as love bloomed and neither wanted to really acknowledge it.
Alrik is book one is a new series that we can all look forward. With incredible heroes and a unique look at shifters. C-7 Shifters will fast become a series we will all be looking forward to.
