The balance between their relationship and the suspense of the storyline is wonderful.  The mystery doesn’t overpower the couple, just like the relationship is not the entire story.  Oh don’t get me wrong, the story is one that will have you hooked from the beginning, leave you guessing who did it.

I am so glad I had the chance to read and review these books.  They were just what I was looking for.  A bit of suspense, throw in some HOT Ds smexy times, of a lot of romance and love, that is a recipe for a good time.

I highly recommend this series, it is one that I know I will be reread often.  I hope we will be seeing more of these two.

Before reading this book I didn’t know there was so many different ways to interpret a Tarot card. The author did a fantastic job in making me understand. The BDSM in this third book is a lot more than the other two book but it is still only mild. Those readers that don’t care for BDSM should be able to read this book comfortably. I have to say the sex between Alex and Conor is red hot. Overall this is a series I would highly recommend to others. Each book has a good storyline with an easy to follow plot.

For mystery lovers, the twists and turns of the plot are handled well, a puzzle for the reader, and a thrill ride as the killer comes closer and closer to the two detectives. Add into the mix very hot love scenes, and I found this third book extremely difficult to put down.

Such a good freaking book. Each book reminds me how much I love the characters. Alex and his witty humor and perfectly Dominant self; and Conor’s shy but cheeky submission and strong sense of right and wrong. I didn’t think it was possible, but the characters get better as we go along. I loved that Conor became stronger in his submission, and more accepting.

The ins and outs of this case is very captivating and keeps the tension revved up during Tarot’s Touch. Nothing is what is seems with this case and the intended target is even more of a mystery. Of course we also have the always steamy Conor and Alex outside of work. They just work and fit together perfectly.Their dominant /submissive play in the bedroom is the perfect mix of power, lust and kink.

I had a blast reading this and can see that it just gets better with each story. I loved it and look forward to reading the next book. I would recommend reading this especially if you love men with badges, dominating gorgeous subs, hot sex, danger, murder, excitement and some pretty cool twist to the story. I love the way you can see the love between these two men in all ways possible. It also gave me everything I could possibly want in a story and so much more.

The main part in Tarot’s Touch for me was the growth of Alex and Connor. Their relationship has many facets to it; lover, friends, work colleagues and Dom/sub but they work hard to make it work with Connor continually challenging Alex. Connor was much more at ease with his role as a sub this time round and this was made obvious when everything gets too much for him and Alex takes him to a club for the night.

LM Somerton writes a great sex scene and Alex and Connor are hot! The BDSM is light but is important to the story. I’ve really enjoyed the series so far and hope there will be more to follow. If you are just starting out make sure to read books 1 and 2 first.

Ms. Somerton once again strikes a wonderful balance between the suspense of the police investigations and the romance between Alex and Connor.  While a few of the sex scenes can be considered graphic, they flow within the storyline. I think this works largely due to the fact that the author is showing us both sides of the men’s lives – professional and personal.

The tarot card angle was fascinating, and I very much enjoyed the way the author shared Conor's research into the arcane. 'Tarot's Touch' was focused more on the detecting portion of police work versus the intense action-filled sequences the previous books had. Don't get me wrong, this has plenty of excitement, just in a different way.
This is a wonderful addition to the series, which I greatly enjoyed. Besides the murder/arson police mystery, Alex and Conor had the opportunity to explore their D/s relationship in more depth, and reach a degree of comfort I believe they hadn't found, as of yet. I'm hoping that this isn't the end of their escapades, because I'd so enjoy reading more.
