The Pride of Amsterdam is a promising first book in a new series. I love the mystery aspect. I love these lion shifters and our couple in this book. I loved being whisked to Amsterdam, and I thought to be an interesting choice for shifters.Review by Love Bytes
This was a good read. The sex scenes were fire hot steaming. And there was quite a bit of it but not so much that it saturates and ruined the storyline. I liked the book. The series seems like it will be a nice one to get into.Review by Sinfully Sexy Reviews
This was a thrilling who-dunnit type of book. The author left little clues as to who was sabotaging Arjan's company. The hunter was harder to pick and I was honestly surprised when I learned who it was. The actions scenes were good, and Kee's friendship with Johnny was one of the highlights of the book.
Action packed, and an intriguing setting this book will be a great read for someone who loves their stories set in the old cities of Europe.

Coldwell’s premise for The Pride of Amsterdam is an interesting one. Establishing a pride of lions who have called Amsterdam their home for centuries, is a cool idea. I am curious about the sequel, because I think this series has the potential for greatness.Review by The Jeep Diva
With a steady pace and a smooth flowing plot, this romance keeps readers shivering in anticipation with lots of suspense and passion. Of course the passion will not be denied between mates so the frequent sex scenes are scorching hot. The characters are strong and compelling and lots of suspense draws the readers in and ensures that they want to know the outcomes of the multiple intrigues going on in this romance. I was completely caught up in all the intrigue and the captivating characters and I will be waiting to read the next Lionheart’s book.Review by MM Good Book Reviews
The sex between the two is nice and hot. There are only minor elements of BDSM, mostly bondage and a little spanking. I loved the rich descriptions of Amsterdam. The romance between Arjan and Kees is immediately intimate but there is not instant love. They got to know each other first, and Kees still has doubts almost up to the very end. So nothing was perfect from the start and I liked that. I look forward to seeing what happens in this series.

This was a right good read and as I said earlier, it kept me guessing till the last on the 'who' for both killer and hacker. The romance between the men was not really there for this is a shifter/mate story. However, Kees holding on to his independence and logical thinking did not ruin this to give way to a well-known formula. That was the part that kept me interested till the very end. The best part is, I really like these two men and the way their story developed. It is a given: I am following this series and these men until I find the answers I am seeking.Review by Rainbow Book Reviews
If you like lion shifters with an interesting pride history of several centuries and enemies to match that heritage, if you think that two men who were separated but never able to forget each other deserve a second chance, and if you’re looking for an action-packed read with lots of mystery and more than one twist, then you will probably like this novel.
