If you like dark mysteries including orgies and human sacrifice, if you think that a knowledgeable archeologist and a young lion shifter are just the men to solve the mystery, and if you’re looking for a suspenseful coming of age story with a few twists, then you will probably like this novel.

I just love my shifter books! And even though this one talks about shifters and Kaspar does shift, it’s not the main focus. It’s more about the relationship between Kaspar and Jon, the mystery of the missing young men. The cult and its beliefs, the work that Jon is doing, what events led up to Kaspar leaving his home land, the new Pride and being accepted into it. What I also loved was the details of the cities, sites and even the food they were eating. It just made you feel that you are a part of the story not just reading it.Review by Inked Rainbow Reads
Part urban fantasy, part Indiana Jones and part modern romance, this story is alternately sweet and chilling.
I really love the newly independent Kasper. Both Kasper and Jon are desirable men. I love the premise of this story and I really love the beautiful description of the Somerset countryside. This book has both endearing and frightening moments.
