I’ve not read a bad book by Lynne and Solo was no different.
Even though it was pegged as an MC book, and believe me there are bikers and club stuff, slang words etc. through out the book, this one focused on the story.

I loved the book. Two that had more in common then they thought. They were definately were soul mates. Thanks Carol.

Solo was a great start to an interesting series. I loved watching these men slowly but surely open up to their emotions and to each other. Bit by bit, their reticence and hardened walls crumbled and they slowly let the other see their love. I loved the way these men gradually felt the need to be together not only for sex, but for comfort and uplifting. In a world where being gay and being a cop/cop-lover could get you killed, the men had to navigate carefully and cautiously but still managed to put the other first. I loved that while this was very fast, it did not have that insta-love feel. The author gave me a love story that felt natural and I often forgot that these men had just met and really had little interaction. As the story stated, these men were made for each other and they fit together perfectly. And oh they were HOT. Like HOT HOT. I love that love won and I can’t wait for more from this world.

Solo lived up to my expectations of everything that should be in a book where the choppers hate the coppers—with an added twist.Ms. Lynne gave us men of hardened hearts, of those who have seen too much in a short life time, and delivered a beautifully written story of realistic feelings and expectations. The camaraderie between the MC members validated the proven fact that the men take care of each other and those they consider their own. Kudos Ms. Lynne for delivering!

Solo has a really good storyline, a great plot that is very easy to follow. I enjoyed the insight into the clubs life style, their rules and regulations had me fascinated and their way of sorting out grievances within the club was mind-boggling to me. The insta-lust that soon turns to love felt right for this story, I think it had a lot to do with both MC’s upbringing. There is a lot of sex, though saying that, it fits with the storyline and isn’t forced which is good. I have read most of Carol Lynnes books, this one for me is one of my favourites. It ticks everyone of my like buttons. I can’t wait to read lots more from the guys in the club. It will be interesting to see who’s book is next. Overall a great quick read that flows nicely.

This was a surprisingly sensitive love story and the epilogue, while it sprung a few extra questions, was a really nice read.

The passion and the sex is intense, the attraction alone between Solo and Eric is electrifying. Two hot men – one bikie and one cop – brought together by chance and both want to stop the same crime… read it, enjoy it.

The chemistry between Eric and Solo is off the charts hot. The book starts off with a bang (heh!) and really sets the tone between these two. Solo is interesting and engaging with some really great characters that I fell in love with.

I really enjoyed this book, it’s well written and I loved the original plot. Definitely has it’s steamy moments, I was a little unimpressed with the abrupt change from hard core MC tough guy to romantic who couldn’t live without his man but the story still turned out well. I’ll be looking for the next book in the series!

'Solo' is book one in the 'Grave Diggers MC' series and it was just as action-packed and exciting as the blurb promised. Plus it had hot, tattooed men on motorcycles. What's not to like? Carol writes some good men. *grins*
