The suspense from the other books in the series does carry over to this one. Dennis does a great job at keeping the interest and drama going and kept me turning the pages. Overall, I really loved this story and I can’t wait to read more into the series in the future!

This is a really great little story. It’s laden with heat and intrigue, and keeps you guessing what’s going to happen next. I really liked the characters, and enjoyed what Barker managed to do in a relatively short space of time. Overall, I’d highly recommend this kinky yet romantic story to those who enjoy spanking romances.

I have to say this is my favorite of the Southern Charm series to date. It is the most cohesively written and the most developed of the stories thus far. But for me, the best part of this story was Beau and how the author DID NOT TRY TO FIX HIM! Thank you Ms. Dennis for allowing an asexual character to shine and to find a supporting and loving partner!

This was such a good story. This is the first book in the series I’ve read and I wasn’t confused or lost in any part. I loved the setting and how all of the people in the town are connected like family. I loved how Beau and Robin worked out their future together at the end.

I enjoyed getting to know Robin and Beau. The author did a nice job rounding out their personalities and I liked their bantering dialogue, making their scenes fun and lively. The author did a great job integrating the previous characters, some of them playing vital roles because of the unresolved mystery. The details are vivid, it’s fast paced and there are plenty of twists to keep you reading. Overall I’m very pleased with this release and am happy with how the poisoning plot line is resolved. I look forward to the next release.

The dynamics between the two characters was interesting as Ms. Dennistouched on a subject not often written about or maybe even heard about~ asexuality. The author thoroughly researched the topic as delineated through the carefully written dialogues between Robin and Beau and the understanding and sensitivity given to the subject. Kudos Ms. Dennis! I adored the men’s personalities and their penchant for taking chances and finding love. The author’s ability to intertwine characters from the other books in the series while keeping in line with the time references was well done. Following the Law was well written~ considerate in subject matter with memorable characters.
