This is a great short read. Updated and fleshed out. I love vampires, especially when they are of the polite, well-dressed, gentleman variety. Hugh fits perfectly into my vision and I loved the way this side of him gelled with the seductive, sexy side of his personality. Elizabeth is a sweet, shy lady that you instantly like. I thoroughly enjoyed this story and look forward to reading more of this series.

I don't read a lot of Paranormal books but I am a sucker for a polite, gentlemanly Vampire). Having been 28 for nearly 120 years Hugh has tamed his Vampiric lust for human blood. He has a club, The Point, where humans and vamps have a sweet deal going on. Elizabeth stumbles into Hugh's life and his control is thrown out the window. With the updates Victoria has given us a few new tasty morsels that add to this quick read. Looking forward to reading the newer versions of the others in this series.

I loved Hugh. For a short story, his character was surprisingly well developed. I loved learning about his progression over the years, from the moment he was changed to meeting Elizabeth. Overall, I enjoyed The Point. I liked the darkness and grittiness of the story. It was sexy enough to hook my attention and leave me wanting to pick up the next book in the series.

Victoria Blisse's The Point left me with some mixed feelings. On one hand, I loved Hugh. For a short story, his character was surprisingly well developed. I loved learning about is progression over the years, from the moment he was changed to meeting Elizabeth. On the other hand, I felt very little connection to Elizabeth. I think if The Point was longer, not necessarily a full length book, and her character was developed a bit more, I would have liked her. Overall, I enjoyed The Point. I liked the darkness and grittiness of the story. It was sexy enough to hook my attention and leave me wanting to pick up the next book in the series.
