This book was a great addition to the southern spirits series. I love the spirits in this series so was upset when they disappeared as I love the interaction between them and the living in the previous books.
This story draws the reader in as a mystery begs to be solved. I loved it.
Highly recommend this wonderful series.

The fascinating town of McKinton, Texas just keeps fascinating me with all the interesting events and captivating characters. This story, while short and sweet, had me shivering in delight and I can't wait to find out what happens next.

While I have enjoyed all of the books in the Southern Spirits series to date, What Remains may be my favorite. What Remains was an excellent addition to the Southern Spirits series and I am already looking forward to reading Ascension.

What Remains is the transition book in the Southern Spirits series. I have taken the title to mean what remains after all of the upheaval with both the spirits and the humans that live in McKinton? The spirits stories! You really need to read the entire Southern Spirits series.

This is an absorbing look into the occult including Wiccan beliefs and ceremonies, along with examples of how light and dark energy may affect the world around us. It's also a continuation and solidification of the loving relationships which have been forged in the series, particularly the outrageously passionate one between Severo and Laine. They, once again, provide us with unforgettably hot love making sessions. I like the story and would recommend it to anyone who is interested in the supernatural and, of course, happy endings.

This one was really interesting - a totally unique way of looking at the afterlife. I loved how important the spirits were to every couple they came into contact with, and how upset the people connected to them were when they were missing

This was a quick nice read. And as always the book wraps up wonderfully in the epilogue. Definitely recommend you read these books in order they would be much more enjoyable.
