An emotionally gripping tale in that it gives the readers a glimpse of all the doubts, insecurities and worries about the future that the Alpha couple face, and this really brings them to life and grips the readers by the heart. But don't worry, the relationship is still is as passionate as ever with some scorching hot sex scenes and it clearly shows the love that they feel for each other throughout. These strong compelling characters grabbed the reader's attention from the very beginning and has continued to do so throughout the series. There was no way that I could stop reading this story once I began because the story is chock full of emotional turmoil, excitement and passion all involving one of my favorite couples, Marcus and Nathan.

Retrograde was another excellent addition to the Southwestern Shifters series. I loved watching Nathan and Marcus get back to nature so to speak and embrace their wolf so fully. That Bradford foreshadowed the changes that are coming for Marcus and his pack made me so freaking happy because that means more books are in the future. But the end. Oh my word was the end sweet.

Ms. Bradford’s writing draws the reader into the finer moments of their lives with her eloquent writing and witty banter. As always, she never forgets all the characters from the complete series, and forges a bond between them and the reader.

Overall a fantastic read, that centres around the importance of family. This has to be my favourite book of the series to date…

This book was a lot of fun. Lots of hot sex. Several snarky Gabe moments, a little bit of drama and loads of tension. But… by the end, we are definitely left on a ray of hope and with several new “pack members” to contend with.
I think this book ranks among my top three favorite in the series and I highly recommend it.

Book eleven in the Southwestern Shifters series offers another exciting adventure in Retrograde. Mates Marcus and Nathan use their brains rather than brawn with excellent results. When they aren’t being smart, they are exploring each other in great detail. This storyline twists and turns with major plot points. One thing is certain, the Southwestern Shifters series is never, ever dull. Retrograde bounces and dips. Hold on for all the action. A fan wouldn’t hurt either.

Action-packed, suspenseful, revealing, and very imaginative. It's well worth reading all of the stories. Their interesting, star hot couples with tough obstacles to overcome, and are set in a fascinating and pretty unique paranormal world.
