Once these two were finally honest about their feelings, things got a little steamy. This is another one I’d love to read going back and giving more details of their friendship and the years of them growing closer even if they were apart, then go forward and show their happy life together. Le Sigh.

I enjoyed this friends to lovers romance very much, especially since everything about Michael and Steven felt real. I got to see how deeply they cared for each other as friends and how much they longed to be more than that. Although short in length, the author allowed the reader to get to know Michael and Steven as friends while bringing to the page their connection and later on their chemistry. I loved it!

I find that Sarah is turning out to be one of my favorite short story authors. She gives you a world that you can see and feel. I enjoyed reading this and look forward to reading more by this amazing author. The guys are so well-developed and there is so much depth in this story that it will amaze you. I am not normally one for short stories, but this story is one of those that just draw you in and keep you till the very end. I loved it and would definitely recommend this book.

This is a very sweet and nice GFY/OFY. What I liked about it was that it talked about the downside of the military in a way that seemed really realistic. I liked the before/after sense of the two boys fantasizing about what the military would be like and then the reality when it really hits home. I really liked it.
