  Review by Molly Lolly

[Aron's] feelings for Joe were wonderfully written. You could feel them with him. The way he slowly admitted his feelings to himself and then did a freefall into love was sweet. I really liked how happy he was by the end of the story. He deserved that kind of contentment in his life.

Once Joe and Aron got over their issues, actually talked and started to see where they could go, I loved them together. They were well matched and suited each other fabulously. You could tell by the end of the story they were deeply in love and going to make it long term. I would love to see another story or two in this series.

Comfort Zone by Alexa Milne is the first time I have read any of Ms. Milne's work. I really like the style she brings to her romance, intense, angsty, but normal men finding love. No one is the super alpha of the pair, they both are just average people finding love for the first or second time in their lives.

Joe is a chef. He also has a little girl, his wife died giving birth to her. He is bi sexual, and finds himself attracted intensely to his newest boss. The connection is intense and both of them have it. Joe is the bravest to act on it first.

Aron is a managing director. He loves to run and is on the skinny side. Openly gay, he is attracted to Joe but worries what a relationship would mean to his life and career at this point.

I found both of these men to be good kind hearted people that you really are cheering for. Pushing their personal comfort zones is how they find the love of a life time. Really angst filled read with intense sexual scenes.

This was a sweet, sad, heart warming story.  For me, this story was more about second chances, being who you’re proud to be and not letting social pressure dictate your life. I would love to read more about their life and see where it goes.

The attraction between Joe and Aron is pretty much instant; the romance slow growing, and the love is hard won but wonderful. This novel is a hopeful, despite the odds, feel good love story? This was an enjoyable, engaging read.

This book is very aptly named. It is all about pushing out of your comfort zone and the ruts of your life to find something and someone new—and opening yourself up to love.

These two men do eventually find their HEA, but it isn’t an easy road. I loved the secondary characters; these two men’s friends and families all conspire to help get them together despite themselves.

This is a great romantic read, a little angsty, but a solid and engaging story. I recommend this book for anyone looking for an enjoyable story about two very likable and down-to-earth characters.
