Although New Vocations is a very short story there is a lot packed into it, I would love to see this short story turned into a novel!! I have no hesitation in recommending this book to everyone.

I loved the details included in New Vocations...Everything tied up neatly in the end. It was simple, but it fit, and it worked for the story’s purpose. If you like cowboys, horses, and the rodeo, and if you have about a half hour to spare, New Vocations is for you.

This is a wonderful peak into a very normal life. Layne and Carl are two rough and tumble cowboys, that meet each other in the right place at the right time. Their story has it all, sweet and sexy with a bit of humor. Enjoyed this mini love story.

I love T.A. Chase’s stories. They’re realistic and honest, simple yet effective. Everything feels real, as if the author really knows their stuff. Cowboys are Chase’s shtick...The writing flows smoothly, without any obvious flaws...I recommend this to everyone who loves cowboys, kind men who love their horses and their men, and positive tales without dark themes...Recommended!

This is a short but sweet story about two men who believe in second chances.
