The first book in the Dublin Virtues series, Patience is an absorbing and wonderful romance. The chemistry and passion between these two strong men was outstanding and very tangible as each page clicked over on my kindle. The writing was extremely well done and compelling to keep me engaged and invested. I was actually sad when it came to the end as I just wanted to keep reading more and more about them. Hopefully the next book will be about Eric and Lorcan (the best friends of Xander and Troy) and we find out all about that scorching secret kiss. A fabulous start to a new series and I can’t wait for more. Five stars.

Patience is a captivating novel in which Helena Stone’s writing flows easily but with great detail about the lives and emotions of her two protagonists... it is a novel in which Stone delivers an authentic romance between engaging characters, and [...] will have a wide appeal to readers of the genre.

I really enjoyed this story, It was sweet, gentle and realistic The personalities are so nice and honest, despite some things were holding back. Their conversations and interactions were detailed described in a very easy natural and very visualizing way. The storyline was fresh and light and in a respectful, accessible modus written.

This was the epitome of slow burn infused with hurt and pain and misunderstanding. I absolutely disliked the ex Shane, then wondered how I would enjoy a story that featured him. As I received these three books as a whole, I was able to get right into the meat of the matter. And I enjoyed the fact that the book and subsequent ones would focus on a tattoo being the star. All with meaning. In order to understand, one click and find out the meaning behind Patience.

This is a great story of two men who have both been hurt in different ways... I found the characters to be engaging and entertaining. I recommend this [to those who] love everyday contemporary romances, great characters, a dash of hot sex and a very happy ending.

This is a good story...The two have wonderful chemistry and are both looking for the same things in life.

I loved how Xander's mind worked, once challenged by Erik. Loved how he processed it all. Loved that, while sorely tempted by Troy, he managed to stay the full 30 days. And nearly cried when it all started to go wrong so close to the end! I really did enjoy this book!
