This book was short and sweet. It is part of the Some Like It Haunted anthology, but I haven’t read any of the other stories. Fisher Kelty is a recovering alcoholic. His boyfriend, Casey, while still on edge, had faith that this time Fisher will stay on the wagon and they can make a go of it properly this time. That dream is shattered when he gets up one morning to find Fisher dead with a bottle of vodka and a handful of pills at his side. Although it’s deemed to be an accident, Casey can’t throw the feeling that it was somehow his fault, that he had pushed Fisher too hard and he’d taken his life either willfully or carelessly.
