I received a copy of How to Make the Perfect Man by Catherine Curzon and Eleanor Harkstead from Pride Publishing in exchange for an honest review. This was the perfect Halloween read for me since my long-standing Halloween tradition is to watch Rocky Horror Picture Show, some years both versions. While sweet is the last word I’d use to describe the movie, it fits this story very well. The main characters are both forty-plus, Aubrey a mad scientist, Trismegistus an alchemist, and BFFs. The surfer dude Aubrey creates is reminiscent of the movie but much funnier and with a happy ending. I actually have a book by the authors on my TBR list and now that I’ve read one by them, I will be reading more!
