I received a copy of The Depths of Time by Lori Fayre from Pride Publishing and I am voluntarily leaving a review. Like many people, I’ve been fascinated with the tragic history of the Titanic, although not to the extent of Lucas, the MC of this book. Once Lucas has traveled through time, the author does a good job of evoking the ship on it’s ill-fated maiden voyage. It was instructive to see Quinton in his natural setting of first class wealth, and likewise to meet Lucinda, who was in second class. Lucas obviously had not read time travel fiction, otherwise he would have known he was unlikely to prevent the disaster outright, but his desire to rectify the past is understandable. I enjoyed the epilogue, as it brought all the characters full circle in an optimistic way.
