I haven't read the rest of the series, so I was concerned, but rest assured, I didn't feel like I was lacking anything! This book was great! Well written and well edited, and the relationship between the MCs was surprisingly sweet! I was worried it might lean to far into dubious consent, considering the "captured by my enemy" trope, but except for a brief scene near the beginning, it was remarkably wholesome, yet delightfully dirty. Great read!
