Review by Ramona K.
Zyke and Vale, friends forever. Suddenly they are bonded to each other. Vale knows Zyke can do so much better than him. He doesn’t want a mate, ever, but it’s been decided that they will be mates and Vale despairs of losing his best friend. Vale has friends, and a loving family yet he’s very lonely. A life decision was made for him and he can’t get out of it. The book dealt with the issue of self esteem and how detrimental thoughts can possibly ruin your future. This book also approached the Alpha/omega dynamic differently. In this world the omegas have the control over mating and are respected as people. I enjoyed the different take on the standard “ oh poor downtrodden omega.” I also liked seeing different kinds of shifters. I like this author but there was something missing in this book. Can’t define what though. It was an okay read but ended very abruptly. Review Copy requested and reviewed on behalf of OMGReads.
