I have to say that this was my first shifter story to ever read and I was definitely not disappointed. Desiree Holt has a knack for seemingly effortless description and while the dialogue felt a little stiff and unnatural in several of the scenes, the characters were all very real and the sex didn't disappoint. I'm looking forward to reading more stories by this author!

The sex is sensual with an undercurrent of restrained animalistic passion...I had no problems picturing every scene and all the necessary details without being overwhelmed by the descriptions...This was my first Desiree Holt read, but not my last.
