In a medieval fantasy world, countries vie for land and resources, making trading partnerships and treaties to avoid conflict and better their people’s lives. With most of those wielding power being men, the use of their female relatives as bargaining chips is commonplace. But what happens when there is no suitable female to seal the deal? With no laws specifically disallowing it, resourceful men are turning young males into brides.
